The following 22 categories are open for entries and trophies will be awarded to the Winners in April 2025:
1 – Activity, Leisure and Entertainment (including Radio and TV and suppliers, installers, retailers and servicing)
2 – Architecture, Landscaping & Interior Design (including gardening, furniture, furnishings, floor coverings whether direct or retail supply)
3 – Assistive Technology (including monitoring, telecare, alarm systems, etc and covering subcontracted services and teams)
4 – Bathroom and Bathing (including direct supply or retail and installation and service teams)
5 – Broadband, Internet, Telecommunication & Computers/ IT Business Services (including direct supply or retail, and installation and service teams)
6 – Catering and Nutrition (for care homes, home care and retirement living, whether direct to consumer, wholesale or retail)
7 – Clinical Products and Services (including direct supply, wholesaler or retailer sales and service and delivery services)
8 – Facilities Management & Maintenance (including safety and risk, recycling, water management, waste reduction, heating, ventilation, building, decorating & property services, from both service providers and support teams)
9 – Finance & Insurance (including all financial support services such as development capital, debt management, etc)
10 – Infection Prevention and Cleaning Services (including response to Covid-19, looking for special efforts by suppliers to go the extra mile for the benefit of customers)
11 – Kitchen and Laundry Equipment and Services (including direct supply or retail)
12 – Legal, Professional and Business Services (including accountancy, business broking, legal advice, bookkeeping and payroll services, debt recovery, etc)
13 – Other Business Services (including storage and distribution services, funeral direction and services, floristry, etc)
14 – Management and Consumer Software and Apps (including resident or patient, nursing, care home, home care, mental health, etc)
15 – Marketing, Creative and Information Services (including advertising, PR, marketing, design, media and social media)
16 – Mobility, Access, Vehicles and Transport (including direct supply, retailers and service teams)
17 – Multi-service or Multi-channel Supplier (for companies offering varied supplies or services across the Care sector, direct, wholesale or retail)
18 – Other Non-clinical Supplies (including linen & bed linen, staff uniforms and workwear, labels, badges, signage, etc whether through direct supply or retail)
19 – Personal Care (including hairdressing, sight, hearing, dental, podiatry, etc)
20 – Recruitment, Training, Retention & Motivation (including e-Learning, etc)
21 – Start-up Supplier (entrants must have been in business for no more than two years prior to the closing date and can include retailers)
22 – Therapies (including physical and wellbeing therapies, supplied direct or at retail)
Occasionally, the Judges may elect to award a Gold trophy to the supplier they believe to be the most outstanding in any one year’s Awards.
